You actually think Roethlisberger is gonna have a good season this year? Or that their running game will be anything approaching decent with Bettis another year older? Steelers will be also rans. The division is either Cincy or Baltimore.

tough division, and marvin has to get them better than 8-8 to even start thinking of superbowls

also, my birds spanked the bungles 1st team defense, t.o. g-lew and reggie all caught td passes

On offense? All you need is 3- QB, RB and 1 great WR, plus a reasonable O-line, which they do have with Willie Anderson and Levi Jones anchoring things. They averaged lke 35 ppg over the last 7 games of the season. Next to Indy, there probably isn't a more explosive offense in the AFC.

On defense? Well, more of a problem, but Lewis has been there for 3 years now, so I suspect they'll start showing a lot more improvement...

And I'd take CJ/TJ over Porter/Moss too. And Rudi over Jordan.

and I would chalk that up to blatant homerism

Ronald Curry, Oaklands 3rd WR is better than Housh

but I would too, take Rudi over LaMont just because Rudi has been a starter and proved he can play, LaMont has to do that this season

TJ and CJ were one of the best overall WR tandems in the league last year. Housh got 70+ and was 22 yards short of a 1000 yards. Curry didn't even crack 700, and with Moss this year, it's debatable if he'll get over 30 catches. As for Porter? He got stats comparable to TJ...didn't crack 1000 yards...and he was the primary receiver on the team.

And that's not even accounting for the fact that Jon Fucking Kitna was QBing for the last few games of the season.

Homerism?

Curry racked up those 700 in about 8 or 9 games, was lost for the rest of the season to an achilles injury, he was on pace to put up better numbers than TJ, 85 is good but he is no Moss, I agree the Bungles do have a potent offense, but Oakland is just as vaible a candidate for the Colts Jr. crown
