View Full Version : NFL free agency

Looks like a deal is going to get made somehow. With all the talk about the deadline coming at 4pm eastern on Thurs. the owners blinked and extended the negotation period 3 more days. I guess Gene Upshaw was tired of hearing that he was the NFL's bitch.
Honestly I would like to see the NFL uncapped, at least for a while because i'm tired of all of this parody bullshit; I want some dynasties. The only reason I would like to see a deal get done is because I want Edge to stay in Indy and for him to stay they need some the cap room. For the most part though i'm cool either was because my team is the Vikings and we have 24 mil in cap room. So i'm expecting us to land some prime free agents.
What do you think your team is going to do?

Parity- although it was like a freudian slip of what you wanted to say.
Why do you care about James sticking with the Colts if you're a Viking fan?
I'm sure the Giants will find a way to fuck things up... and then eek out a playoff spot anyway. We'll see.

All I care is that the Lions don't sign a QB.

Hopefully the G-Men can pick up a good CB from this.

T-Shirt what have you been man, haven't seen you post in forever, are you under a different screen name on Trick. And yes you are right Parity not Parody.
But to answer your question I have a few reasons, i'm a Big Canes' fan and because of that i've liked (no homo) Edge since college. I think sticking with the Colts would be good for his career. Plus I like a lot of the Colts players Wayne (former Canes player) Harrison, and Freeney.

I see. I'm not much for college in general, so I don't have the same sentiments towards certain players, following their careers.
*That was kind of like listening to Michael Irvin- "why will they win, because they have Santana Moss and why because of Santana Moss? Because he went to THE U!"
I do have that, "this player is on this team so I'll root for them to win in this game between two opponents I don't otherwise care about" thing though, beyond the obvious "Go G'Ints" rah rah bit.
To answer your question- I've been here and there. And yeah, I had another name on trick after my first one got banned.

With the Steelers, Randle-El is the question mark. I just hope they re-sign him.

I think Randle-El is mad overated, he reminds me of Az Hakim, dope in the slot and in the return game but he isn't a #1 or top #2 guy.

but thats why he is gonna fetch alot of dough, a player like that is exactly what the bears and eagles need, along with a few other squads

Sure he's no #1 reciever, but he's a #2 for sure. He won't get a fat contract but he vital in the offense.
