Great so far.

Telfair comes across likeable and intelligent (that part about the tattoos was on point). I'm probably going to start checking for him in The League.

you wont see him much.....mcmillian has him on a tight leash with blake and jack running the offense well

I peeped his stats on NBA.com.

On an unrelated note, Sonny Vicarro has always rubbed me the wrong way.

His minutes aren't consistent...he's getting like 9 and 4 though. He needs to continue working on his jumper.

Jamel Thomas seems like a bitter dude

It shows that he did intend to go to college, because there were doubts about that

If Portland's able to dump Zach Randolph & Darius, they might be able to turn the thing around up there. Great young backcourt with Jack, Dixon, Blake, Telfair & Martell Webster.

too many PGs

Jack, Dixon & Blake are really more combo guards than PG's. If Martell Webster ends up being any good all three of them are great bench players.

whats wrong with Zach Randolph? and that is way too many guards

webster could play anywhere between the 2-4, and is there 2 guard of the future, just as telfair is the pg of the future...blake and dixon are decent, but more bench/role players. If portland does let randolph they would be dangerously weak in the front court

Zach is lazy and doesn't play D

He's as gifted as any 4 down low though.

Not worth his contract.

I liked how it showed how hard he worked to get where he's at.

Jamel Thomas still came off as the "overbearing father" though

Did anyone peep how he gave Jamel a 645, and his other brother a 300...lol

That shit ain't equal

Chris Paul > Telfair now and ten years from now.

you have to look at the coach though.......mcmillian wants his pg to first run the offense....then score if it comes out of the offense....telfair aint there yet...and has a long way to go to be that....thats why blake and jack are getting so many minutes over the pg of the future

i understand that, and as if said before, the jump from hs to the l is a big one, and usaully takes players 3-4 years to "breakout" unless your name is lebron james

also, i thought it was ridiculous the amount of players from that 04 mcdonalds AA team are now in the NBA, Dwight, Telfair, Josh Smith, JR Smith, Al Jefferson...and there are prolly more, those were the ones i saw....these kids should be college sophmores

not necessarily gonna disagree with you because sebastian may be the better talent but leading the Big East in Scoring > lincoln high school anything

He was good enough.

You don't lead the Big East in scoring not being good. I was shocked he didn't get drafted. What's funny is Ryan Gomes got drafted, and they're basically the same player.

Dude is a tweener. PF skills in a SG/SF's body.

i'll trust the collective mind of NBA talent evaluators over you two any day

Mega

The great talent evaluators that made Olwakandi and Kwame Brown first picks, made Trajan Langdon a lottery pick and Rashard Lewis and Gilbert Arenas second round picks?

And how could i forget the great team that is the New York Knicks.

Mega makes a good point.

There must've been some reason outside of basketball skills that prevented Jamel from making The League. There have been plenty of players who have had decent careers and went undrafted.
